FundShelf / Proposed manager partnerships
Institutional relationships. Thoughtfully aggregated.
A proposed feeder model connecting eligible Hong Kong investors with underlying private funds, subject to manager consent and legal approval. No manager partnership, distribution mandate or live fund access is represented.
A pooled commitment
A dedicated feeder would aggregate eligible investors into one subscribing vehicle. Underlying minimums, feeder acceptance, investor-count limits and beneficial-owner look-through remain manager- and vehicle-specific.
Clear operational interfaces
The proposed workflow would coordinate entity onboarding, subscriptions, capital-call information and investor reporting with appointed providers. Independent administrators, banks and legal advisers would retain their agreed responsibilities.
Transparent economics
Underlying fund charges, feeder expenses, platform remuneration and any placement compensation or rebates would be documented separately. No fundraising volume, cost saving, minimum ticket or fee level is guaranteed.
Review fee layers →Independent approval
A manager could supply factual materials but could not approve its own listing. Manager diligence, Hong Kong marketing permissions and legal offering review would precede any publication or subscription.
A proposed partnership process
- Explore commercial fitStrategy, fund terms, feeder appetite, underlying minimums and reporting expectations.
- Review diligence and permissionsManager/vehicle diligence, distribution authority, investor eligibility and conflicts require independent assessment.
- Agree structure and responsibilitiesLegal vehicle, administrator, banking, fees, look-through and data-sharing arrangements need documented acceptance.
- Validate operational readinessOnly after approvals: test subscriptions, calls, reconciliation and reporting with appointed providers.
FundShelf’s operator/licensing model remains unresolved. A professional-investor focus is not a blanket exemption from licensing or offering rules.
